After sailing for a time on the waters of illustration, Léa now wishes paint bigger. And especially, reconnect with touch, play with matter. She abandons her graphic tablet to return to the manual essence of Art, artisanal, carnal. Oil and gouache vibrate on paper, walls or linen... Each touch placed becomes a fragment of a moment, of an emotion. The canvas becomes entirely his, malleable, tangible.
Léa is inhabited by a visceral desire: to go beyond beauty. Beyond these fragments of life, moments of happiness and sweetness offered to the spectator, the artist must in his eyes signify something of the society in which he evolves and of the burning subjects that animate him. Express feminism, tolerance, love diversity, the return to nature.
